Story

Founded in 2020, Estrellita de Belen Foundation emerged in response to the crisis facing Venezuela. With over 4,500 children born annually in the country with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), and over 80% requiring surgery within their first year of life, the urgency of the situation is clear. Tragically, around 2,000 children are left languishing on waiting lists at any given time, with many succumbing to their condition while awaiting treatment.

Compounded by a national health system in turmoil, the majority of these children never receive the care they desperately need.

Estrellita de Belen Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for these underprivileged children. We provide vital assistance by funding basic care and treatment, supplying essential medical resources, and offering nutritional supplements not provided by the Venezuelan government. Our collaborative efforts extend to working closely with parents, caregivers, and local volunteers, ensuring that the immediate needs of our little heart warriors are met with compassion and efficiency.
